BrakesI removed the servo and master brake cylinder and PDWA. The master cylinder had a slight leak, so I bought a rebuild kit from Moss, dismantled the cylinder, and fitted the new parts. This was a much easier job than the MGB master cylinder rebuild: everything came apart and went back together very easily. The bore of the M/C was very clean with no signs of any pitting. I also bought a refurb kit for the PDWA. Getting this apart was a little tricky: the bolt at the end was in very tight. In the end I got it free by using a tyre iron and a rubber mallet: it turns out the bolt size is a standard hub nut size. Here is the PDWA shuttle:
The two rubber rings were replaced with new ones from the refurb kit. Here's the servo unit. You can see the wetness from the leaking M/C.
I replaced the whole servo unit with a reconditioned unit I bought on Ebay.
