The HP Exemplar at Caltech was officially dedicated on June 9th.
A large poster was displayed describing the Caltech/CERN/HP project, and generated much interest.
A one-day technical collaboration meeting was held between HP engineers, CACR, JPL and the HEP group on June 10th.
The Objectivity installation on the SPP was further checked (lockserver, scaling tests
see later slide).
Active work has begun on WAN tests for a CERN federation comprising partitions on machines at Caltech.
The goal is to test WAN physics data analysis with RD45.
The latest release of CERNLIB is being installed on the Exemplar.
A new Caltech staff member, Rick Wilkinson, started work on the project June 23rd.
A student, L.Borisov, will run simulations on the Exemplar together with Objectivity.
